wedding groom style

Now everybody knows the groom's not supposed to see the wedding dress before the wedding, right? Do you know where that comes from? It comes from the custom of not allowing the groom to see the bride before an arranged marriage in case he should decide that he didn't want to marry him. So, that's a custom you can keep; but one you might want to shelve!

For one reason, I find that if my brides and grooms spend time together right before they waltz down the aisle, they're grounded. Make something fabulous out of the moment you see one another, but otherwise it's OK to lean on the one you love. And if you choose, you can get the pictures out of the way and have a lot more time to have fun at your party. From the standpoint of a celebrant, it relaxes you and helps you to enjoy your wedding ceremony and be really present for your wedding vows.
